Hawaii Part Tres

Okay, I've put it off for a week, but here is the next addition in this much anicipated series
First, I will wow you all with our amazing construction abilities. Who's in the market for a home and wants to hire us?

Our friend has been adding to his Christmas village for years and it is truly amazing. It fills an entire room, has running water, trains the works. Everything is carefully situated to seem like a real town

Hanging out at Temple Beach (poor Tavita was always stuck in that stinking turtle whenever he wanted to go out deep. They had quite a love hate realtionship)

Kalei focused on her sand art. This girl is drawn to sand no matter where we are

Brayden and a friend taking a break to discuss the deeper things in life

Hottest beach babe in town

Tavita racing the waves

LeiLei soaking up the rays

Brayden charging a wave

What's a trip to the beach without finishing up with some shave ice!

Making sure every last drop is gone

The remodel down at the shopping center made the boys love it all the more

Everyday ended with them being wasted by the sun and zoning out on the couch

My parents are doing a MAJOR remodel on the backyard. Still has some work to do but it's coming along well and looks amazing.
The highlight for the boys was watching the pool get replastered. Brayden wanted to be sure it was recorded that he was the first to swim in the "new" pool

The day before Ryan and Regines wedding we had the rehersal dinner in town. Figured we'd make the most of the long drive and went and hiked Diamond Head
We wouldn't be tourist without having our picture in front of this sign

Kalei was determined to hike the whole way (and she made it a good 100 ft on flat ground!)

Brayden at the first lookout

Mommy and LeiLei enjoying the view

A whole lot o' good lookin booties!

The tunnel that apparently smelled like WWII. What? You didn't know WWII had a smell? Just ask Tyler!

The cute little lovebirds

A more accurate depection of what the two are really like

Finally caught Tavita in a picture. The kid was in heaven with so many things to explore, he was everywhere.

Going down the stairscase. Brayden thought they were quite impressive.

Going down was just a bit steep.

Glimpse of all our beautiful faces.

Lookin Good!

Brayden is quite the hiker and liked to lead all of us as to where to go. (It did get a little confusing as to wether or not we should stay on the only path or slide down the cliffs)

All that being carried up and down the trail just plain tuckered her out. She's dreaming happy dreams of granola bars.

After the hike we changed out of our sweaty clothes, wiped the mud of our legs and jetted over to Bucca Di Beppos for the dinner. Good food, good company, and good times embarassing the soon-to-be newlyweds (though I failed to get a picture of them)

Just a whole lot of shots of our dashing good looks.

On the way home after a long day, Tavita was the last one standing. (note the half images of the other two zonked)

Hawaii Part 2

Okay, the more I look at these pictures the more I realize there's no way I'm going to remember what we did each day. Other then main events (ie Christmas and wedding) these pics are going to be kind of random. Most of our trip consisted of hanging out at the beach and so that's what most of the pictures are.
The boys FAVORITE night time activity was crap hunting. Not out looking for a meal (they were too small), just the sport of catching them, seeing how many we could gather then letting them go again. All three of the kids were terrified of actually touching a crab but they had fun searching for them and running after them.
Getting ready for a hunt with the cool flashlights Grandma got them

Searching for crabs

Tavita checking out what we have so far

Look at Tavita's stomach. He wanted in the picture but was so scared the crap was going to reach out and pinch him

Brayden being brave and making an attempt to dig a crab out of the sand

By the end, they'd inevitably end up in their underwear because their clothes would get splashed by waves and they didn't like wet, sandy clothes.

Another aspect of the trip. Kalei and Jenson were constantly at each others throats. Kalei would let out an ear-piercing scream every time Jenson walked by her. Jenson thought it was a great game. However, there were a few rare moments where these two had a great time together
Both stinkin cute

If they fought too much, we just locked them in a bucket

If Jenson wasn't around as a partner in crime, Kalei found plenty of trouble on her own.

Here are some pictures from the kids FAVORITE beach "Alligator Pond." Named as such because the rock fromation in the water looks like an alligator half submerged.

Since Tavita had to keep his head dry, he liked sliding around as the waves lapped up.

Little Island Boy and his board

The boys LOVED to do "cliff jumping" off the rock.
Brayden went over and over

Even worked on his dive

Surprised by a wave while they were out exploring

Tavita still jumped, we just had to catch him on his way down to keep him dry

Just grabbing a quick snack of rocks and sand

Tavita couldn't resist and had to play in the waves, Junior held him steady to keep him from falling off.

Playing on the rope swing

Ignore me and see if you can spot Brayden after being slammed by a wave
